The Mouse Poem.
While watching this video, I waited and waited for some words to come up on the screen that would explain what the context of this video would be.
They never showed up.
I feel like this poem may be giving all the answers as well as none at all. It makes you want to know more.
I never thought that such a simple video could evoke so much thought and emotion.
"A poem doesn't have to use words. Be inspired by everything."
What is your opinion on this?
Wow. I thought this would be some sort of funny video, but I was totally wrong. Haha. The music in the video is really moving. It pretty much tells the viewer what it's about. I agree with everything you just said. Poems are supposed to evoke emotions and this one did.ReplyDelete
So a poem doesn't have to use words. :)
omg I love it! same here! I thought that there would be words coming up to express the poem. But just like you said, I think the images express the poem and not the words.ReplyDelete
Loved it. Thanks so much for sharing. Love things online that give me goosebumps and somehow connect me to something bigger I cannot name. There is power in a well articulated emotion through the guise of art.ReplyDelete
Perfect. Thanks again.
Hi Sana. I am Ms. G from next door. Mr. R tweeted this tonight and boy am glad he did.ReplyDelete
It was such a beautiful piece. Thank you for sharing. The parts I loved were the blur of the lights and the white stripe on the mouse. I also loved how the music helped us take the journey with him or well, her. The best part was when he or she meets his or her other. I thought that was really powerful. Having said that, I wish words didn't come out in the end at all. I thought that took some of the intensity away. Those are my opinions on this.
Overall, what I appreciate most though is that you were able to find this gem, share it and leave many of us thinking. Thanks for that. Keep at it.
What a sweet video! Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete
Sana, I loved this video. It is absolutely beautiful and it did evoke emotions regardless of wether it had words or not, so yes I agree with you :) thanks so much for sharing!ReplyDelete
It Definitely is strong without having words, the music added to it, I guess.ReplyDelete
Wow, that's very strong even without words. I never really thought a poem could have no words but this definitely proved me wrong and I'm glad it did. Love it! :)ReplyDelete
